Why We Need Volunteers

The Center is a volunteer-run enterprise – basically, we’re just a bunch of people who want to see the Chesapeake healthy again – that operates on a very small budget.  By volunteering at PWEC, you’re working to create a cleaner bay and you’re becoming part of a community that cares deeply about the environment. The time that you donate helps PWEC demonstrate community involvement, which in turn can help our grant applications.
