Kelley Cox - President Kelley is the founder of PWEC, a biologist, and a Certified Instructor of Project WET. She has experience in aquaculture and aquarium maintenance, and Chesapeake Bay research experience. Gary Crawford – First Vice President Gary is a retired associate dean of the U.S. State Department's School of Language Studies. He is now a Tilghman resident, owner-operator of local nautical book store, and an amateur local historian. Carol B. McCollough – Acting Second Vice President Carol is an oyster pathologist, bird guide, and research expert. Ed Slatcher - Treasurer Debra S. Howard - Recording Secretary Debra is a certified Project WET instructor, a natural resources biologist, with water quality experience in Chesapeake Bay research. She comes from a watermen’s family. Steve Bailey – Communications Director Steve is a former editor at the New York Times and other newspapers. He is ow living on Tilghman and working as a freelance writer, communications consultant and adjunct instructor at Salisbury University. Nancy H. Garner Nancy is a retired Project Director of Gannett Co., Inc / USA TODAY in McLean, VA. She is a past speaker at the Harvard Graduate School of Design and Urban Land Institute. She has a B.S. in Building Construction from Virginia Tech and a degree in Architecture from Tulane University.
