The Phillips Wharf Environmental Center (PWEC) is dedicated to informing, inspiring, and involving those who live near the Chesapeake Bay to take action on its behalf. To that end, PWEC undertakes to: - provide hands-on experience with Chesapeake plants and animals, to understand their needs and build concern about their well-being,
- provide information so that people, both youth and adults, can make decisions in daily life to reduce the harm they do to the Bay and take action towards its restoration, and
- assist in finding solutions to the Bay’s problems through practical research and data collection.
